With the recent start of winter, keeping warm is key to staying healthy. Cold weather can harm one's body's ability to fight off viruses which is crucial during this ongoing pandemic. Thank you so much World Famous Sports and Bombas for generously donating a total of 18 sleeping bags and 50 pairs of socks! We were able to donate all of these items to HomeFirst Services, where they will be distributed out to the local unhoused community.
On December 17th, I made an appointment with Annette Pizzo to drop off items at HomeFirst Services on December 23rd at 10 AM.
On December 23rd at 9:30 AM, my team members met up at my house and we began to load all of the donated products from World Famous Sports and Bombas into the trunks of two cars. After we finished, we drove over to HomeFirst Services. We arrived around 10 AM and brought in all of the items inside the building.
